Two weeks after that I took my 75 Ramcharger with 33's and 1-1/2" lift and came out unscathed. No winching either trip. I had to Hi-Lift my Ramcharger a few times. That would be the cheapest way, and @ 2.5" you won't be putting too much stress on your OEM axles. I decided on Duratrac 285/75r18 on the stock wheels. I didn't want a lift, or something to wide, but really wanted a good size sidewall. This tire is 34.8 tall with a 8.4 sidewall but only 11.2 wide. really fills the well, but doesn't hang out at all. No rub, even at full lock.

Then for 37″ tires you have it marked as needing a SL-4″? Then for the 38″ tires “which is what I’m gonna be putting on” you don’t have the SL size listed? I have 38/15/r20 tires and need to know if a 4″ body lift and a 4″ SL will work. I have 295/70r18 Cooper AT3 XLT and I only rub the felt liner when the wheel is turned in a certain spot while backing up. A 1/2" level (which would cost a lot more then the next option, because you will need UCA's) or a slight trim to the mud flaps and tying the liner back will remedy it. These tire sizes are roughly 32.7” and come in the form of a 255/85 r16 or 255/80 r17 which is 33×10 (roughly) and will fit on a stock suspension with no lift and little to no rubbing. The width of a 255 works well, as long as you don’t fit negative offset rims or thick wheel spacers. Trucks with longer wheelbases allow for higher lifts than most. They let you run 35-inch tires and still have about 4 inches of clearance between the fender and the ground. You can go up to 7 inches in such circumstances.
